The Class system for this game is indeed troubling though, as it is based on the older style job system, in the sense that you are not one class, you are all classes, if you so choose.
It is true that you can only have one active class, however the classes merely enable you to gain bonuses fitting of that class, and learn abilities and such that aren’t forbidden from the style of Mortal Online combat related to that class selection. In addition, it appears if you are to lose what would be considered as the requirements to become that class at any time, you also lose the bonuses that come along with it; This to me goes against the customization of your character. There are many other aspects to this game that I would deem worth mentioning, however none as dramatic as the ones listed above.
All in all, Mortal Online looks to be very worth checking out, in fact I believe it will be a quick starter for all of those bored of the same old raids, sick of Dynamis every third night, or fed up with the glitched world of Atreia. However, it is in my opinion going to be a quick starter, but a quick bomb too. This game is too diverse for players to accept in one sitting. Try it, I know I will, but don’t expect it to be your Promised Land.
